devsuit uses Stripe for payment processing in the Prima Resorts app. The payment flow is seamlessly embedded in the app design and can be used on the web, iOS and Android devices.
Independent payment processing for mobile apps
For the Prima Resorts mobile app, we use the payment service provider Stripe for payment processing. This allows us to flexibly integrate payment methods and processes. For example, we can process bookings for shops and in-app purchases through existing backends, while payments are handled via Stripe. Data is exchanged between the systems using middleware we developed.
Through the Stripe API, developers can integrate payment processing into any app. Stripe offers SDKs for iOS (Stripe iOS SDK) and Android (Stripe Android SDK) that were developed specifically for their respective platforms. These SDKs simplify integration by providing tools for managing payment data and interacting with the Stripe API.
For the Prima Resorts app, we implemented a standard Stripe payment process this way, including credit card, PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. This includes flexible payment terms and management of all individual bookings via the Stripe management interface. Payment processing is fully integrated into the Prima Resorts app and branded according to the client’s specifications. All booking data for accommodations and extras is transferred from the app to the backend (the "Mews" property management system) via custom-developed middleware, including payment confirmations from Stripe.
