devsuit is developing an interface based on the Mews Connector API for the Prima Resorts guest app. This allows us to implement a flexible software architecture that is scalable and expandable.
Mobile app with connection to the MEWS backend
The Mews property management system (PMS) from the Netherlands is one of the world's leading cloud-based software systems in the hospitality and guest experience sector and has won the Hotel Tech Award 2024 as the leading property management system.
For the real estate developer Prima from Neuruppin, our team is developing a connection to the Mews backend via their public connector API. The separation of frontend and backend makes our customers less dependent on a single software and flexible to connect new services to the frontend of the guest app in the future.
The software architecture is flexible because we connect the bidirectional interface to the Mews backend via configurable middleware to the Vue frontend of the app. The Mews backend remains the central management tool for the resort operator. We retrieve data such as property details, photos, prices, and availability from the backend and feed back information such as personal customer data, travel periods, and payment information. The customer status in Mews is also updated via a convenient check-in and check-out process.
