Case

The Association of Industrial Energy and Power Companies (VIK) needed a modern platform to efficiently consolidate energy data from various sources, display it in real time, and provide its members with intuitive analyses. The previous manual processing of data was time-consuming and limited the ability to gain relevant insights quickly and accurately. The goal was to create a digital solution that increases transparency and provides a solid basis for decision-making.

Solution

devsuit developed an energy data dashboard for VIK that meets the highest standards for data transparency and user-friendliness.

Technical foundation:

The application was developed using the Python framework Django, which is known for its robustness and flexibility. Vue.js was used as the front-end framework to ensure a responsive and interactive user interface. The data is stored in a PostgreSQL database, which is valued for its reliability and performance.

Data processing:

Incoming data is automatically cleaned, normalized, and stored in a central database. A robust pipeline is used to ensure consistent data quality.

Real-time dashboards:

Visualization is provided through dynamic, interactive dashboards based on VIK’s current requirements. Users can flexibly navigate between different views, such as consumption patterns, historical trends, and forecasts.

Thanks to the cloud-based architecture, new features or data sources can be integrated with minimal effort.
