DEVSUIT SUMMER PARTY 2023: WITH THE "MATHILDA" ON LAKE TEGEL

Barbecuing and celebrating on Lake Tegel

After celebrating our summer party at the Friedrichshagen beach for four years, this year we headed out onto Lake Tegel aboard the BBQ boat "Mathilda." Even though it was late summer, we had perfect swimming weather and will be back in 2024.

We set sail from the Tegeler Seeterrassen in northern Berlin. The crew of the “Mathilda” steered us right to a beautiful swimming spot. After a dip in the water, we enjoyed delicious grilled food on board. We sailed past tranquil islands, other excursion boats, and the waterfront town of Spandau until just before Spandau’s old town; the citadel was visible in the distance. Then, unfortunately, it was already time to head back; the hour-long trip back to the harbor flew by far too quickly with cocktails and music. We’re looking forward to next time.
